Thoughts From Our Volunteers:
What a treasure this is for a descendant of the Mischon/Meunier family! The obituaries tell the stories of immigrants from France and pioneer families of Lexington, MO. The obituary for Celina Mischon states that as a child she carried provisions to the Union troops traveling through town.

I hope this Bible will soon be once again in the hands of a family member.
