Volunteer Notes:

Special Unique Findings or Bible Features:
This Bible is interesting in that the first several pages with handwriting are mostly the name Robert J (and sometimes James) Young over and over again with odd scribbles intermixed. The fourth page contains this eerie poem: “Robert J Young When he is dead and in his grave and his bones are all rotten This little book will tell his name when it is quite forgotten” followed by several more writings of his name.

His father is listed simply as J F Young, but per familysearch his full name was Jonathan Fleming Young.

Also included in the Bible is a list of names (All starting with Mr. or Mrs.) followed by numbers that don’t seem to be dates. I’m unsure of what these names and dates signify.

Praying this unique and old Bible makes its way home!
